Phase 2 starts in the background, trenching for the pipe
to St Clement's Terrace, while block formwork retains newly cast concrete
in curved shape to ensure good water flow at the junction. The
blocks will be removed. 2/2/06 |
| The trench heads towards Preston Farm, but that
electricity cable in the (suspended) ducting is still in the way. SWEB are
due to come soon and divert it. 2/2/06 |

Meanwhile, at the foot of The Old Forge's garden, one
small part at least is looking very neat and tidy. 2/2/06 |
| But out in the road progress is slowed by having to dig
down through over 4 feet of concrete to access a manhole. The pneumatic
concrete breaker calls for ear defenders! 2/2/06 |
