| The point under the road outside The Old Forge where the
overflow culvert from the ford will meet the 60cm pipe from St Clements
Terrace to flow down into the open stream. The workmen knew where most of
the underground services were before they dug, they knew the 12" drain
behind the workman's right arm was there, but they didn't know it had
nearly 3 feet of concrete on top of it - which had to be carefully removed
- with the electricity cable next to it! 17/1/06 |
