The following photographs taken by Elijah Yeoman could well date from 1880, when Yeoman married Honor Varder in Harberton. Simmons Farm was probably the Varder family home. The first picture of Leigh Bridge predates the present pair of houses "Lauraleigh" and "Leighbridge Cottage" which were built in 1893.
