'Watery Lane' is a green lane in the parish of Harberton which runs west for just under half a mile from OS grid ref. SX 7739 5959 (near Tristford Reservoir north of Harberton village) to OS grid ref. SX 7673 5936 (Belsford)

The photos were taken on 17th August 2006 during repair work on the green lane, carried out under the 'Life into Landscape' scheme - see www.southdevonaonb.org.uk/our-work/completed-projects/life-into-landscape - a joint initiative led by South Hams District Council with the support of Devon County Council, with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
